Reducing the Carbon Footprint at South Worcestershire College
Students studying on the Motor Vehicle courses at South Worcestershire College are very aware of the impact of motor vehicles on the environment.
When ASNU UK Ltd, the manufacturer and supplier of the world's leading injector servicing and diagnostic equipment systems, approached the College with an invite to participate in a research programme aimed at helping the environment, the staff and students were very enthusiastic to participate.
ASNU will be visiting South Worcestershire College for a one day Carbon Footprint Programme as an extra training element. The students will be instructed on vehicle injector removal and servicing by the College's Motor Vehicle tutors, along with the technical staff from ASNU UK Ltd, who will loan the College their specialised equipment for this project.
Motor Vehicle Course Manager, Jeremy Sargent said "This programme will provide our students with a great opportunity to gain some worthwhile experience and also have some up to the minute training that will be invaluable to both them and their employers once they have completed their courses at college".
