Pooches visit college for pampering day
Dogs of all shapes and sizes visited the college this week for a pampering session in the college's Animal Care Department.
Part-time Animal Care tutor, Lis Milsom, who also works at the Dog's Trust in Evesham, has been working closely with the students teaching them the techniques used by professional dog groomers in preparation for the event.
"Learning about dog grooming from someone who works in the business has been a great experience for the students" said Animal Care Course Manager Karen Gordon-Brander. " To open up our department as a dog grooming salon for the day has given our students the perfect opportunity to try out their new skills."
As well as giving the students some invaluable dog grooming experience the event was also held to raise money so that the Department could invest in additional dog grooming equipment, which will enable the students to build on their existing dog grooming skills.
