Hair show at South Worcstershire College
Lady Gaga, Christina Aguilera, James Bond, Bjork, Madonna and Cheryl Cole look-alikes wowed the audience at the Malvern campus of South Worcestershire College during a hairdressing extravaganza.
The audience was entertained with music, lights, dramatic hairstyles and a riot of colour with the fantastic costumes and makeup.
A module of the Level 3 hairdressing course is for students to organise an event, and this year’s students rose to the challenge by putting on the show which was themed around celebrity styles through the ages.
“The standard of the hairdressing at the show tonight was exceptional” said Level 3 Hairdressing Course Manager, Karen Brown. “The students have been looking forward to putting the show together all year and they have really thrown themselves into the project. Their creative skills have really come to the fore, and I know the audience, who gave the students rousing applause during the curtain call, thoroughly enjoyed themselves.”
