Children in Need 2009
Staff and students from the CARE Academy at South Worcestershire College have been busy with loads of crazy activities all with the aim of having plenty of fun and to raise money for the BBC Children in Need Appeal 2009.
The day included a whole variety of events including guinea pig races and mice races, guessing the numbers of sweets in a jar, a tombola, guessing the name of the dog and a fancy dress competition.
Academy staff, Penny Minta, Sharon Smith and Karen Brock, normally respectable childcare tutors, were the most enthusiastic singers in the karaoke competition, with their hilarious rendition of Baby Love. The fantastic day was enjoyed by everyone at the college and resulted in over £500 being raised for this worthwhile cause.
