Courses for Art and Design

Access to Higher Education (Art) - Level 3

Available at: Malvern Campus. Length: 1 Year

This course is ideal for anyone, who would like to gain an art diploma which could be a gateway to a new career or to Higher Education, who does not currently have either the qualifications, confidence or portfolio required to begin the process. This qualification is accepted by Admissions Tutors in Art Colleges and Universities and is equivalent to 3 A Levels in the Art area.

BTEC Art Foundation Diploma in Art and Design Level 3/4

Available at: Malvern Campus. Length: 1 Year

This course can be used as a stepping stone on to a University course. It is traditional for art students to take this extra year of study in order to help them decide on their specialism, area of interest and to develop as an artist.

BTEC Diploma in Art and Design - Level 2

Available at: Malvern Campus. Length: 1 Year

This course is offered on a full time or part time basis. The full time option runs over 3 days per week for 1 year. The part time option runs over 1 day a week for one year. You will explore a range of art and design techniques in Year One and build up a personal creative portfolio for the Level 3 course or to explore the avenues available in the world of work.

BTEC Diploma in Art and Design - Level 3

Available at: Malvern Campus. Length: 2 Years

The Diploma is equivalent to two Art A Levels. You will explore a range of art and design areas and techniques in Year One and then in Year Two, you will build up a personal creative portfolio for University submission or to explore the avenues available in the world of work.

BTEC Extended Diploma in Art & Design - Level 3

Available at: Malvern Campus. Length: 2 years

This is a two year course in which you work at College for three days a week. You will explore a range of art and design areas and techniques in Year One and then in Year Two you will build up a personal creative portfolio for University submission or to explore the avenues available in the world of work. The Extended Diploma is equivalent to 3 A Levels.
