Foundation Skills Programme Entry and Level 1

Available at: Evesham Campus. Malvern Campus. Length: 1 Year.

There are individual programmes for students who need to develop their personal, social and practical skills in a supported environment.

What qualifications do I need?

There are no formal entry requirements, however all students will be required to have an interview.

What's involved?

Functional skills in English, Maths and also ICT where appropriate.
You can choose from a range of vocational options. The options available at both campuses are: Hospitality, Health and Social Care, Hair and Beauty.
At the Evesham Campus we also offer Construction, Animal Care, Land-based and ICT.
At the Malvern Campus we also offer Art.
For those requiring higher levels of support both campuses offer Independent Living and where appropriate, Supported Employment options.
Personal and Social Development.
Qualifications are available at all levels from Entry 1 to Level 1.

How will I be studying?

Students will be studying in small supported groups and will be expected to be in College for up to 3 days a week. Many of the sessions are structured to be as practical as possible in order to meet a wide range of learning styles.

Where can I move on to after this course?

You can progress on to other vocational courses within the College or into training and employment. Past students have moved on to various full time courses within the College including Animal Care, Sport, Health and Social Care and Motor Vehicle.
