This course is an interesting way to start off your career in Travel and Tourism. The emphasis of the OCR Certificate is on developing qualifications, practical skills and experience for the workplace.

What qualifications do I need?
- No formal qualifications are required but you will need to have an outgoing personality and possess good communication skills
- You will also need to have basic competency in literacy and IT
- All applicants will need to have a successful interview

You will study a variety of subjects including:
- Hospitality in Travel and Tourism
- Planning and running a Travel and Tourism event
- Promoting Travel and Tourism
- Dealing with customers in Travel and Tourism
- Exploring the Travel and Tourism industry
How will I be studying?
You will take part in group work and taught lessons and complete projects and assignments.
You will also be developing the skills you need to start a career or proceed onto the Level 3 course.
Where can I move on to after this course?
On completion of this course students can progress onto the Level 3 Diploma in Travel and Tourism or either into employment within the industry.
